A Director of the Leeds Innovation Centre has been elected a fellow of the prestigious Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering in Melbourne. Professor Richard Williams, also pro-vice chancellor for enterprise, knowledge transfer and international strategy at the University of Leeds, is one of just two non-Australians included in the 32 new fellows elected at the academy. He said "Science and Engineering is a key strategic enabler of the growing Australian economy and education system and I am appreciative of the opportunity to be a fellow of this leading national academy".
