Finance Yorkshire has advised 1,100 of the region's business leaders on how to access the new £90m venture capital and loan fund. Starting April 2010, the fund will provide small to medium businesses with seedcorn, loan and equity-linked investments. Leeds Innovation Centre receives an ict active Accreditation

On Monday 24th August 2009 Leeds Innovation Centre received an accreditation from ict active. We are ict active Excellent which applies to Part Fitted premises which, in addition to complying with all the requirements for a part fitted building, it also meets some of the infrastructure requirements of a ready to occupy building. Awareness of intellectual property rights and how to protect and manage them is still patchy, particularly in the SME sector.
